Legal Leadership Conference

The brief

Novartis’ mission is to discover new ways to improve and extend people’s lives, and its vision is to be a trusted leader in changing the practice of medicine.

Together with the client, we designed a custom-made game experience with culture change and team building as the central focus for the Novartis Pharma Legal Leadership Conference 2018. Getting outside of the meeting room to explore nature and the surroundings of the meeting venue in Laax was also a key area of focus when we set out to design this fun team-building activity for the client.  

The solution and result

Our client worked with us to create a tailored, engaging and interesting storyline to provide context to our digital scavenger hunt game design. Teams were challenged to help rescue the company from a fictional situation where some important data was being held hostage by a villain. To succeed in this task, teams had to decode an encryption key by passing through hidden locations, and complete 30 individual challenges using teamwork skills, creativity and perseverance. iPads programmed by tabevents guided the way for each team.
