The brief

Kuoni Destination Management’s (KDM) wholly owned, vast global network of MICE experts is renowned for creating experiences that are rich in detail, vibrant with local colour and seamless in delivery. The outstanding performances, service excellence and highest level of customer satisfaction were recognized with the “World’s Leading Destination Management Company” award in 2014 for the fifth year in a row by the World Travel Awards.

In May 2017 KDM invited Scandinavia tour operators to Lucerne. In order to promote the city the invitees should get to know the special spots of the town during several days discovering the city.

The solution and result

During the preparation of the City Explorer in Lucerne it was important to consider that the program was not too demanding for the participants. The daily schedule was already fully packed. That is why it was crucial to bring the participants to the important stops with a lot of Lucerne history and highlights. Also, KDM partners had to be considered during the tour.

Short and to the point, digital and a lot of fun was the perfect mix for the morning adventure in Lucerne. The exciting and interactive game accomplished to bring participants together who didn’t know each other before. We are looking forward to many Scandinavian visitors in Switzerland in the future.
