The brief

Mövenpick is a Swiss group of companies with global presence. Its core competency lies in the hospitality business with a focus on gastronomy, hotels, wine and premium branded products. 

For the IT Conference 2017 teams from all over Europe and the Middle East gathered in Zurich. On the agenda for this conference was beside many professional subjects also an exciting social program including "Exploring Zurich" and "Experiencing the brand Mövenpick".

The solution and result

The start was set at the Mövenpick Hotel Regensdorf. The great premises enabled an ideal start with a briefing for the social program. Afterwards the participants were being transfered by busses to the city center. 

A simultanious start in the city was crucial because on the hunt for points the conditions for all teams need to be the same. Off they went on a journey through the streets and alleys of Zurich, to Mövenpick ice cream dealers and wine retailers. At last they arrived at the modern Mövenpick wine bar in the middle of Zurich. 

Because of the occupational affinitiy with digital devices it sparked from the very first moment. The atmosphere was great and already in the busses the teams were eager to win the challenge. The interaction with the Zurich people and Mövenpick employees from different branches and sectors was perceived as a very enriching exchange.

After a thrilling final spurt an emotional showdown was orchestrated at the Mövenpick wine bar.
